This is a large photo, but I wanted you to see the details of the
Greek Orthodox monastery of St. George of Koziba founded in 420 AD below
in the canyon where we stopped for our devotional on the way from Jerico
to Jerusalem. This was a very serene setting, one which we shall never
forget. The building was destroyed during the
Crusader Period but was restored to its present glory in
