1996 Science Teachers Association of Texas (STAT) Convention


From a different perspective, I took the liberty to ask several of my undergraduate students what THEY thought was the most important bit of advice to give teachers. I was surprised at their suggestions. First they felt the we teachers should keep up the intellectual pressures! They also believed that in today's world of instant reward, DELAYED GRATIFICATION is not a bad approach, and that we should encourage our students to wait patiently and for opportunities that really mean something to them.
