Another change in RMB's life. He originally wanted to be a physician since his father was one in Pampa; however, his love for nature and plants inspired from his mother, led him in the direction of plant research. As an undergraduate student, taking a course in economic botany was one of the major influences for RMB. Botany is more than The yearly trips to Coulter Lake Guest Ranch in Rifle Colordao (photo above) also greatly influenced RMB to appreciate Nature and plants. By the way, this place still exists even 40 years after RMB went there as a kid. Highly recommended as the BEST and MOST BEAUTIFUL place in all of Colorado. RMB knows!
