This slide was made from my wife's T-shirt which explains to many
just about where Pampa, Texas is located!
Guess what? Pampa is also known for its tornadoes.
As a child, I well remember the Higgins and Glacier tornado which started at Panhandle, then
jumped over Pampa, Miami, Canadian, then it devastated Higgens. My father, a physician,
took the family in the day after, and I shall never forget the massive destruction. Last year,
Pampa had a tornado but not much destruction. If you want to know more about
