Photo Number 15. This is a view from within the library looking north
through the giant window. I was so impressed with this view that I decided
to use it as the theme for my version of the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower
Center Visit. The silhouette made a perfect place for a title! The beautiful
Texas rolling land is obvious from this window. It is hard to believe that
this view is not much more than 10 miles from the State Capitol Building!
Austin is growing and really surrounds this site now, yet it is not obvious
from this view.
