Photo Album of our Tour
to the Holyland
January 4-14, 1999
Photo 55
This is Beth Shean/Scythopolis, the ruins of Beth Shean where the body
of King Saul was hung on the wall of this city after his armies were defeated
by the Philistines. The Roman ruins are 3rd century BC! Remarkably preserved.
Here you can see our group marching up to the top of the mountain which
has some interesting ruins and a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
