This star marks the site where Jesus was born in Bethlehem, 1999 years ago. This is deep within the Church of the Nativity. Members of our group were able to individually kneel and place our hands within the hole of this emblem which marks the very place of the birth of Jesus. Behind this view off to the side is the manger. Our group had a devotional in the manger. We also sang Silent Night. I will soon place a short MP3 file of our singing at this very site.
