Malcolm Brown's Garden Tour 305 Skyline Drive Austin, Texas Image Number 30 Here is our southern-most bench, a newly-built structure overlooking the lanai and banana farm as well as the septic line retaining wall and plantings with elephant ears. The tiny white flower in the foreground is Tradescantia. I use this plant in my cell biology lab to demonstrate cytoplasmic streaming in the staminal hair cells. It is truly beautiful. This is a gift from the late Jean Stone.
