R. Malcolm Brown's Garden Tour Image Number 11 This is the front of our home showing my attempt to grow Algerian Ivy under live oak. The deer ate this morsel at first, so I had to install an electric fence. Now after one year, the ivy is thriving and I have to admit that it looks pretty nice. Notice, we have a flat roof house. This is both good and bad.It is good in that I have the entire roof decked and you can have some wonderful views from on top. It is bad because the roof is prone for leaks! Well, we try to keep these patched.
