Life has given me such happiness
I did not think that you could bring me more;
But you have shown me paths of liveliness
That lead to Heaven's door,
And opened my eyes to beauties
Quite undreamed before.
By some mysterious alchemy
Your love transmutes mere happiness
Into purest ecstasy.
