Dorothy Callaway Webpage
Here I am with my favorite mother-in-law on April 6th shortly before
I left for a trip to Sweden. A typical visit to
Dorothy and Maxine ( Stovall, her sister) would include a spelling
match to keep the sisters in top
intellectual shape. Dorothy was an excellent speller until
her stroke on April 20. This is the last time I saw Dorothy active and
well.
Part of our "game" also consisted of playing the organ and having
a sing-a-long. Below, you will be hearing the
DOROTHY LOUISE SHUFFLE which I composed after Dorothy passed away.
I know that she would have enjoyed
this active piece. I hope that you will enjoy it!
Music
"The Dorothy Louise Shuttle"
composed in her honor, by R. Malcolm Brown,
Jr.
is now playing
