Our Condo

The Story
We were very lucky to find a nice condominium. At first, I had secured a nice log cabin on Hopkins but about one month before we were to arrive, I called to make sure everything was ok and found that the home had been sold! the agent then found this nice place for us. It was ideal, in the center of town, and we simply parked our car and did everything from this central location. The condo has 3 bedrooms and baths. Is is located on the ground floor and was very cool in the summer. Raccoons were in the yard at night, and bears were not far away! You can see how much everyone enjoyed this place. We used the beautiful kitchen often. The condo was fully equipped, and I marvel how the owners trusted the renters with such nice things. We did our best to keep everything nice and tidy. The only thing I lost was a wine cork opener and I replaced that!  This place is especially nice because of all the beautiful flowers and gardens. You will note that I took lots of photos of the flowers and gardener! The manager of the building was very nice to us also. We felt just at home! I have to admit that this was truly elegant living, something we are not used to on our vacations. Nevertheless, it added to the total enjoyment. We were so pleased our friends could come and share this place with us in July. I should also point out that the first week we were there we were awakened early one morning by thousands of pit pattering as runners came by! What a sight. Of course, during the entire time, we saw thousands of cyclists and hikers. This appears to be a main route to the Music School so we always saw student carrying their instruments. Sounds wafted from another unit in our condo as we heard an oboe teacher's student on a regular basis. It simply was an ideal place to be! All photos are copyrighted.
