Electron Microscope
The Philips EM 430 transmission electron microscope. Upper left of control panel has the Gatan camera electronics module and monitor. This microscope routinely resolves under 3.0 Å. The images are captured by the Gatan camera through a YAG crystal and sent to our IBAS digital image processing computer.
